'No shows' and same day cancellations.
I have decided to reinforce the policies this year. If a client fails to arrive for the appointment there is a charge of £15 for the missed appointment. This charge is payable direct to your groomer to reimburse her for her time. Our groomers are all self employed businesswomen and they make themselves available for booked appointments in good faith. When the client fails to arrive, the groomer effectively has to spend the allocated 90 minutes per pet at work without pay. In this situation we reserve the right to require payment for any further appointments at the time of booking.
Charges may also be applied where a client arrives very late for their appointment, leaving the groomer with insufficient time to groom the dog, requiring them to reschedule the appointment. In such situations, the rescheduled appointment must be prepaid.
Where a client needs to cancel late due to unforeseen circumstances, no charges will apply, provided we are informed at least one hour before the appointment time, although we appreciate more notice we understand this is not always possible.
